Description:
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program Review is an educational program that introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. The NRP Online Examination, 6th Edition assesses knowledge of the causes, prevention, and management of mild to severe neonatal asphyxia.
After completing the NRP review, students may take the online examination in our computer testing center located on-site. Upon successful completion of the online examination, learners will print the verification of completion and present it to their NRP instructor for skills training, simulation, and debriefing. In addition, students may elect to complete the exam prior to attending the review and skills evaluation. Proof of exam completion must be presented prior to skills evaluation.
Content updates include: Changes in the NRP Algorithm Elimination of Evaluation of Amniotic Fluid in Initial Rapid Assessment Use of Supplemental Oxygen During Neonatal Resuscitation Use of Pulse Oximetry The new, extensively updated Neonatal Resuscitation Program represent a shift in approach to the education process, eliminating the slide and lecture format and emphasizing a hands-on, interactive, simulation-based learning environment.
NRP 6th Edition Exam
All students must pass the online exam. The fee for the exam ($25) is paid directly to the American Academy of Pediatrics and is NOT included in the review course. You will be given two attempts to pass the exam. Upon the second failure, you must repurchase the exam.
